Multiple Modes

Generate worldwide, land, country, radius, bounding box and polygon coordinates.

⇩

Bulk Export

Export developer-ready CSV, JSON and GeoJSON files instantly.

↻

Reproducible

Use a seed to recreate the same coordinate set for testing and sharing.

▣

Private by Design

Generation runs in your browser and your coordinate data stays on your device.

Three simple steps

How the random coordinates generator works

Create usable coordinate data without installing GIS software.

1

Generate

Choose a geographic mode, enter the quantity and set precision, order and an optional seed.

2

Preview

Review generated points on a detailed map that automatically focuses on the selected country, radius, bounding box or polygon.

3

Export

Copy all coordinates or download CSV, JSON and GeoJSON for immediate use.

Built for practical location data

Random coordinate generator use cases

Software testing

Create deterministic GPS fixtures for map interfaces, geofencing, location search and database tests.

GIS and spatial analysis

Generate random point samples within countries, land areas, bounding boxes and custom polygons.

Logistics research

Build synthetic pickup, delivery and routing locations for transport models and optimization experiments.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

Are worldwide coordinates evenly distributed?

Yes. Worldwide mode samples latitude by spherical surface area so points are distributed evenly across the Earth instead of clustering near the poles.

What does Land Only include?

Land Only uses local Natural Earth country geometry to keep generated points on represented land areas, including major islands and Antarctica.

Which coordinate order does GeoJSON use?

GeoJSON always stores coordinates as longitude, latitude. CSV and JSON can use either latitude, longitude or longitude, latitude.

How does the seed work?

The same seed and generation settings produce the same coordinate sequence, which is useful for repeatable tests, datasets and shared examples.

Does the app work offline?

After the first successful visit, the PWA caches all local app files and geographic data. Later visits try the network first and use the cache when the network is unavailable.
